Plant-Associated Microbe Genome Initiative

Plant-Associated
Microbe Genome Initiative white paper. The groundwork for this initiative
began at the Workshop on Genomic Analysis of Plant-Associated Microorganisms in
Washington, D.C. in April 2002. An early draft of this white paper was published in
the IS-MPMI Reporter. Members of the research community provided input to
improve the document. The white paper has been sent to U.S. funding agencies to
urge their support for genome analysis of plant-associated microbes.
